Aart, in cooperation with Trend Reclamemakers Oud Beijerland, designed a series of multifunctional abris which were named “Steqi” for a new cycling route through the wildlife area of the Hoeksche Waard. The Steqi is a landmark with a map and a sheltered resting place with a bench and a trashcan.

The Steqi is constructed of wooden pillars with a galvanized roof and hard plastic signs. The goals were to make it vandal-proof and to make design that would fit in the landscape.

The design, production and placement of a steel foundation on 12 places in the Hoeksche Ward was fully realized by Aart.
